Judging begins at The Appys with over 200 entries received

The judging of this year’s Appys with The Carphone Warehouse has started and entries are now closed. This year The Appys received over 200 entries across 15 categories. “What struck us the most this year was the quality of the apps and how the quality of the apps in terms of utility and design had improved so much since last year’s awards,” says Des Doris, event organiser.
This year iPad apps and Facebook apps were invited to enter the awards. “It’s been great to see so many new app developers entering the awards. We even got entries in from as far away as Romania, Germany, Italy and Sweden as well as the UK and the US,” says Doris. “The iPad and Facebook app categories will only get larger and larger as the years progress.”
